Yunche Zhu is a Ph.D. student in the Thrust of Microelectronics of the Function Hub at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou), China.

He received his B.Eng. degree from Sun Yat-sen University (2024). He previously worked as a full-time Research Assistant at the Sichuan University–Pittsburgh Institute (2024–2025). His research mainly focuses on MEMS-enabled reconfigurable metamaterials, especially for terahertz (THz) sensing, EIT-like resonant devices, and tunable photonic/optical computing applications.
