Prof. Jian Zeng joined the HKUST(GZ) faculty in October 2023. Prior to joining HKUST(GZ), Dr. Zeng did his doctoral work in Mechanical Engineering at UC San Diego from 2017-2022 working with Prof. Renkun Chen and was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Lawrence Berkeley Lab and UC Berkeley, working with Prof. Ravi S Prasher and Prof. Jeffrey R Long.
