Professor Lingjie Duan directs the Edge AI Edge and Agentic Economics Laboratory (A2E Lab) and is now recruiting highly motivated PhD, MPhil, and Research Assistant candidates for admission in 2026 and 2027. Strong candidates are encouraged to apply early.

Research Focus

The research will center on the fundamentals of AI theory and their crucial applications in robotic/ IoT/computer networking, covering areas such as:

  • Human-centric Artificial Intelligence
  • Distributed machine learning 
  • Multi-agent autonomous systems

  • Computer Networking
  • Network Economics

Candidate Profile and Application
