International Awards

  • 2025 Dr. Hamed K. Eldin Outstanding Early Career IE in Academia Award from IISE.

    • This award recognizes individuals in academia who have demonstrated outstanding characteristics in education, leadership, professionalism and potential in industrial engineering. The award recognizes engineering contributions in application, design, research or development of IE methods by early career IISE members. This award is sponsored by Hamid R. Parsaei.

  • 2025 ASQ Feigenbaum Medal.

    • The citation reads “For exhibiting exceptional leadership, professionalism, and potential in the field of quality control for complex multi-stage manufacturing systems at a young age; for research methodologies that have addressed the real-world manufacturing challenges for quality improvement via data analytics with significant impacts.” The Feigenbaum Medal is presented to the individual who is 35 years of age or younger, who has displayed outstanding characteristics of leadership, professionalism, and potential in the field of quality and also whose work has been or, will become of distinct benefit to mankind.

    • This award recognizes and celebrates an outstanding contribution in applying the principles of Management Science and Engineering to address a real-world challenge.

  • SME Susan Smyth Outstanding Young Manufacturing Engineer Award, Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME)., 2024.

    • Since 1980, the SME Outstanding Young Manufacturing Engineer Award has recognized manufacturing engineers, age 35 or younger, who have made exceptional contributions and accomplishments in the manufacturing industry.
